For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Stratosphere Games is an AAA mobile game developer based in Berlin, Germany, looking for a Gameplay Programmer to support the development of existing and upcoming projects.

As a Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, and managing a team of programmers. You conduct code reviews and help in solving different kinds of problems. You are also involved in planning the work for your team and you will work together with the leads from different departments.

• Develop new game features in close collaboration with other department leads 

• Establish best practices for coding, code reviews, and technical documentation 

• Mentor junior members of your team and assist them in their professional development 

• Estimate programming efforts and ensure objectives are met on time 

• Identify risks and provide possible solutions 

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in programming in C# 

• At least 1-year experience in leading teams 

• Broad knowledge of client and backend technology 

• Ability to bear responsibility  

• Some understanding of producing and game design 

• Knowledge of version control (git) 

• Experience in working with Unity 

• Ability to work with task tracking tools 

• Ability to communicate and work in feature teams
