Senior Game Designer

At Colossi Games, we’re working on a mobile Action-Adventure game that combines the Survival Genre RPG with Citybuilding and Asynchronous Battlers, all wrapped in a theme of Gladiators in Ancient Rome.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

We have successfully finished the prototyping phase, and now the production is gaining momentum. However, some critical positions are still open.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Game Designer. 

We are all working hands-on and strive to have a lean team with a lot of responsibility and very little micromanagement, so it is paramount to identify the right candidate that will then:

• Design, prototype, and see new features to production

• Take control over the development and improvement of one or more of the game’s core systems: combat, RPG, crafting, building

• Balance your features and systems math-wise

• Write clear and concise documentation

What kind of professional are we looking for?

It is naturally required that said candidate will:

• Have worked on a live project

• Be familiar with the mobile games market and peculiarities of making mobile games

• Be capable of drawing simple UI mockups

• Be skilled in math enough for game balancing

• Have a healthy balance between creativity and being ready to listen to feedback

What is important for us in a person?

It will be a plus if you:

• Have experience with Unity engine

• Are a jack of all trades

• Have some special talents that make you stand out from other game designers

• Have worked in or communicated with player support, and treat the player with respect and sympathy
