UX/UI Designer

Stratosphere Games is an AAA mobile game developer based in Berlin, Germany, looking for a UX/UI Designer to support the development of existing and upcoming projects.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

As a UX/UI Designer, you create the overall design and look of the game UI and implement it afterward. 

You work closely together with Game Design to identify the needs and requirements for the games UI and create the first wireframes for it. After the structural design, you create the style for the UI, working together with the artists to match it with the overall art style of the game. The last step is the implementation of the UI in Unity and iterations o fit depending on player and tester feedback.

• User-focused approach to UI/UX – Know what’s best for the user 

• Concept the complete game UI/UX 

• Create UI/UX wireframes and click dummies 

• Iterate your wireframes based on user/tester feedback 

• Realize your UI/UX concepts in Unity 

• Work closely together with the UI Programmer 

What is important for us in a person?

·        2-3 years of mobile games UI/UX experience 

• Ability to work collaboratively - Strong verbal and written communication 

• Ability to communicate in English 

• Ability to work independently and to own your tasks 

• Ability to implement UI in Unity 

• Updated portfolio with a strong passion to design 

• Design thinking and understanding of the core usability principles 

• Ability to handle critique and form structured feedback
